مكة هي البلدة التي بنيت على يد النبي إبراهيم لتكون رمزا للمؤمنين
Macca is the town which was built at the hands of prophet Ibrahim as a symbol for the believers.

و لكن يد الغدر و الكفر غيرت معالمها
But the hand of treachery and disbelief changed its features.

و بعد أن كانت مكانا للعبادة الله الأحد
After being a place of worhsip of Allah the One,

تحولت بمرور الزمن إلى معبد للأصنام
over time it transformed into a temple of idols.

تتوزع أصنام الخشبية والحجرية في شوارع مكة
Wooden and stone idols were distributed in the streets of Mecca,

التي يسجد لها النساء والرجال و الشيوخ و الشباب
to which women, men, elders and youth would prostrate.

المشاة يعبرون الشوارع و يمشون على الأرصفة
Pedestrians cross the streets and walk on the sidewalks.

وألباعة يتابعون عملهم اليومي
while vendors continue their daily work.

كانت هذه الآلهة الخشبية والحجرية موضوعة للعبادة
These wooden and stone deities were objects of worship

و لتأمين الرزق اليومي لأهل مكة
And secured the daily livelihood for the people of Mecca.

كانت تجار يقصدون مكة من جميع بقاع الأرض البعيدة و القريبة
Traders would head to Mecca from all parts of the earth, far and near

للاستراحة و الزياره
to take a break and to visit.

فيزون الكعبة ويقدمون القرابين للآلهة
And they would visit the Kaaba and make offerings to the dieties.

و لم يكن هناك سواء شخص واحد بين هؤلاء القوم
And there was no one except one person among these people

لا زال موحدا يعبد الله الواحد الأحد
who was still a montheist, worshipping Allah the One and Only.

و هو عبدالمطلب من سلالة نبي إبراهيم
And he was Abdul Muttalib, from the progeny of prophet Ibrahim,

من كبار قريش و أشراف مكة
from the elders of Quraysh and the nobles of Mecca.

وهو جد خاتم الانبياء
and he was the grandfather of the seal of the messengers.

هذه هي مكة قبل ولادة محمد إبن عبدالله خاتم الرسل
This is Mecca before the birth of Muhammad son of Abdullah, the seal of the messengers.
